BEACH POST CONTINUES EFFORTS TO CORRUPT FLORIDA’S ELECTIONS BY SUPPORTING
NON-CITIZEN VOTERS RIGHTS
Friday, May 11, 2012,
the Palm Beach Post ran a report from the Associated Press, written by Gary
Fineout of the A.P., entitled “Nearly
200,000 Fla. Voters may not be citizens”. Fineout reports that “a
comparison of voter lists and driver’s license information turned up a list of
nearly 182,000 people who may not be U.S. citizens”.
The
Palm Beach Post has been a leading critic of any attempt to tighten our voter
identification and election registration policies in Florida. Governor Rick
Scott, the Republican Party and the Independent’s attempt to keep Florida
elections fair and corruption-free have been met with numerous editorials and critical
reports in the Post. Scott is accused of trying to suppress minority votes. The
Florida ACLU, and a Washington-based voting rights group have filed lawsuits
against Gov. Scott. Eric Holder and the D.O.J. have expressed opposition.
(Holder continues to
condone unlawful voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers but condemns lawful
strict voter ID requirements. Is the DOJ setting the stage for a fraudulent
election that will provide Democrats with illegal votes while suppressing the
opposition?)
Florida has about 11
million active voters. The electorate is so closely divided that out of
millions of votes, the 2000 election
-Gore vs. Bush- was decided by a mere 537 votes! This means that if even a
fraction of the 182,000 possible illegal, non-citizen voters cast ballots, the
election results could be corrupted, putting illegitimate officials into public
office.
Corrupting
the election seems to be the goal of the Democrat Party and their allies in the
leftist media. They recognize that most illegals vote Democrat and with abysmal
results after 3 ½ years of big government failed policies, their only hope is
to steal the election. Once again the progressive media and the DNC demonstrate
that the means justifies the end. Doing
the unethical and illegal is no obstacle to most Democrats, journalists, editors
or publishers as long as the outcome is favorable for the left.
Nearly
a year ago, Dara Kam a Palm Beach Post staff writer, filed a report entitled; “ACLU, voting rights group sue to stop
implementation of the new Florida elections law”. She described how critics
claim that the new laws make it more difficult for minorities and low-income
voters to vote and they typically vote Democrat. So there you have it, progressives
want more Democrat voters. Apparently if
lax identification and registration laws allow hundreds of illegal non-citizens
to corrupt our election by voting for the Democrat; all the better!
Why
can’t the poor vote? There is no fee to register to vote, registration is
available at numerous locations- especially in the inner cities- and everyone
will have had two years since the 2010 election to accomplish the daunting task
of registration. Is Ms. Kam implying
that Democrats are typically lazier and dumber than Republicans and
Independents; traits that inhibit them from understanding the election
process and making registration virtually impossible with out third party, DNC
help? Well maybe she has a point!

Even
though other states have laws similar to Florida, U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Boca
Raton called for a federal investigation of Florida’s election laws. Deutch
claimed that: “Sadly there is a
disturbing trend across America making it harder for Americans to exercise
their most basic and fundamental right to vote.”
I
say sadly there is a disturbing trend in Washington, D.C., across America, in
the media and at the Palm Beach Post to corrupt our elections by not enforcing the
election law as required by the United States Constitution; the trend to allow
as many non-citizens to vote as possible. Each
illegal vote cast and counted (for either party), effectively cancels out an
opposing legitimate vote, an American citizen’s vote, thus depriving the
American voters of their most basic and fundamental right; their vote.
Americans
send young people to die in war to protect our country from the fanatical,
Islamist, extreme terrorists that attacked us on 9/11. I believe any foreigner
that serves honorably with us should earn citizenship and a vote. Those who continue
their evil efforts both abroad and at home, who at this very minute scheme to
deny us our freedoms and God given rights and attempt to defile our elections
must be defeated on the field of battle and at the election box. We civilians
must fight at home to preserve the integrity of our most basic right; the right
to vote and to have that vote matter, not be canceled out by illegal
participants.
