Recently I purchased a bottle of wine at Target. The cashier asked for my driver’s license and then swiped it into the register before allowing the purchase. I could not help but laugh as I thought; “It would be easier for an ineligible person to vote illegally in Florida than for a senior citizen Floridian to buy a bottle of wine at Target!”

Sunday, 6/10/2012, Randy Schultz, Editor of the Editorial Page of the Palm Beach Post published an editorial entitled “In Florida, not all voters are created equal”. I agree, some are legal and others are illegal.

 The left whines that voter fraud is rare and that strict registration rules and ID requirements are not necessary. I say that even one fraudulent vote is unacceptable because it might cancel out my legal vote. Shouldn’t every legal voter agree? One would suppose.

Randy Schultz asks, “Suppose, though, that if the Democrats ran Tallahassee they passed a bill designed to “crack down” on absentee ballot fraud…. If Democrats did all those things, Republicans would howl…”

I disagree. I believe that the Republicans and Independents welcome strict voter registration and ID laws for all voting including absentees.

Schultz believes that absentee voting is a “Republican thing.” He states that the GOP encourages absentee voting. That may be true but again Schultz is wrong. Democrats too love early and absentee voting because it is easier to cast those votes fraudulently. The Democrat Party -that cannot win on the issues -relies on ACORN style voter fraud. Groups that attempt to register illegal immigrants, convicted felons, dead people, fictitious people and who register legitimate voters multiple times are progressive, leftist organizations.

Again, Randy Schultz is wrong about who likes early and absentee voting. This type of voting has become the favorite target for the progressive’s voter fraud. The following exposes just a small part of the Democrat Machines scammers and felons working for progressive groups such as

Would you like this to happen to you? Apparently Randy Schultz does not mind! Not even one illegal vote is acceptable in my opinion; one illegal vote cast for my candidate’s opponent effectively cancels my legal vote and denies me of my constitutional right to have my vote matter.

Among the people arrested was the Madison County Supervisor of Elections, who appears to have known about all of this. The list of arrests is actually pretty striking:

•                Abra “Tina” Hill Johnson, 43, was charged with 10 counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, and two counts of absentee ballots and voting violations.

•                Her husband Ernest Sinclair Johnson, Jr., 45, was charged with 11 counts of fraud in connection with casting votes, one count of corruptly influencing voting, and one count of perjury by false written declaration.

•                Jada Woods Williams, 34, Madison County Supervisor of Elections, was charged with 17 counts of neglect of duty and corrupt practices for allowing the distribution of these absentee ballots, contrary to Florida state statute.

•                Judy Ann Crumitie, 51, charged with four counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, and one count of providing a false report to law enforcement authorities.

•                Laverne V. Haynes, 57, charged with two counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, two counts of perjury by false written declaration, and one count of providing a false report to law enforcement authorities.

•                Ora Bell Rivers, 41, charged with seven counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, three counts of perjury by false written declaration, and one count of providing a false report to law enforcement authorities.

•                Raven Simona Williams, 20, charged with two counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, two counts of perjury by false written declaration, and one count of providing a false report to law enforcement authorities

•                Shalonda Michaelle Brinson, 36, charged with nine counts of fraud in connection with casting a vote, and one count of provided a false report to law enforcement authorities.

Good thing that the FBI doesn’t believe the left’s claim that voter fraud doesn’t exist.

            U. S. Rep. Tom Rooney recognizes Florida’s dilemma. The following is a letter he wrote to the corrupt Attorney General, Eric Holder, who is yet another Democrat proponent of voter fraud and intimidation.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney (FL-16) today sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding that the Department of Justice stop its efforts to block the state of Florida from verifying the eligibility of registered voters. 

“The Department of Justice under President Obama has become so politicized that it consistently puts aiding the President’s reelection campaign ahead of upholding justice and enforcing the rule of law,” Rooney said.  “The Attorney General is now actively working to enable voter fraud and allow illegal immigrants to cast votes in the state of Florida – this is a new low, even for this Administration.”

Rightjuris.com reporter Beth Shaw on 10/27/2010 published the following story on Daytona, Florida Democrat voter fraud:

Apparently, Henry and Robinson requested a large number of absentee ballots for various individuals from the same email address. Ann McFall became more suspicious of the requests in that they were all for the Daytona Beach City Commission Zone 5 race. Derrick Henry is the Zone 5 incumbent.

It was discovered that Henry and Robinson had requested a total of 92 absentee ballots, apparently in an attempt to help Henry’s re-election chances. Officers searched Henry’s home in September and found absentee ballot applications, receipts and ballots as well as handbooks on Florida election laws.

All 92 people whose names had been used to obtain absentee ballots were interviewed. Some hadn’t lived in the state or county in years, others didn’t request the ballots but were contacted by Robinson who ‘helped’ them fill out the ballots. Some were relatives of Henry and Robinson.

MO	2008	Nearly 400 ACORN-submitted registrations in Kansas City have been rejected due to duplication or fake information.
	2007	Four ACORN employees were indicted in Kansas City for charges including identity theft and filing false registrations during the 2006 election.
	2006	Eight ACORN employees in St. Louis were indicted on federal election fraud charges. Each of the eight faces up to five years in prison for forging signatures and submitting false information.
	2003	Of 5,379 voter registration cards ACORN submitted in St. Louis, only 2,013 of those appeared to be valid. At least 1,000 are believed to be attempts to register voters illegally.

	2004	An ACORN employee registered a 13-year-old boy to vote. Citing this and other examples, New Mexico State Representative Joe Thompson stated that ACORN was “manufacturing voters” throughout New Mexico.
NV	2009	Nevada authorities indicted ACORN on 26 counts of voter registration fraud and 13 counts of illegally compensating canvassers. ACORN provided a bonus compensation program called “Blackjack” or “21+” for any canvasser who registered more than 20 voters per shift, which is illegal under Nevada law.
	2008	Nevada state authorities raided ACORN's Las Vegas headquarters as part of a task force investigation of election fraud. Fraudulent registrations included players from the Dallas Cowboys.
OH	2008	ACORN activists gave Ohio residents cash and cigarettes in exchange for filling out voter registration card, according to the New York Post. Some voters claim to have registered dozens of times, and one man says he signed up on 72 cards.
	2007	A man in Reynoldsburg was indicted on two felony counts of illegal voting and false registration, after being registered by ACORN to vote in two separate counties.
	2004	A grand jury indicted a Columbus ACORN worker for submitting a false signature and false voter registration form. In Franklin County, two ACORN workers submitted what the director of the board of election supervisors called “blatantly false” forms. In Cuyahoga County, ACORN and its affiliate Project Vote submitted registration cards that had the highest rate of errors for any voter registration group.
PA	2009	Seven ACORN workers in the Pittsburgh area were indicted for submitting falsified voter registration forms. Six of the seven were also indicted for registering voters under an illegal quota system.
	2008	State election officials have thrown out 57,435 voter registrations, the majority of which were submitted by ACORN. The registrations were thrown out after officials found "clearly fraudulent" signatures, vacant lots listed as addresses, and other signs of fraud.
	2008	An ACORN employee in West Reading, PA, was sentenced to up to 23 months in prison for identity theft and tampering with records. A second ACORN worker pleaded not guilty to the same charges and is free on $10,000 bail.
	2004	Reading’s Director of Elections received calls from numerous individuals complaining that ACORN employees deliberately put inaccurate information on their voter registration forms. The Berks County director of elections said voter fraud was “absolutely out of hand,” and added: “Not only do we have unintentional duplication of voter registration but we have blatant duplicate voter registrations.” The Berks County deputy director of elections added that ACORN was under investigation by the Department of Justice.
TX	2008	In Harris County, nearly 10,000 ACORN-submitted registrations were found to be invalid, including many with clearly fraudulent addresses or other personal information.
	2008	ACORN turned in the voter registration form of David Young, who told reporters “The signature is not my signature. It’s not even close.” His social security number and date of birth were also incorrect.
VA	2005	In 2005, the Virginia State Board of Elections admonished Project Vote and ACORN for turning in a significant number of faulty voter registrations. An audit revealed that 83% of sampled registrations that were rejected for carrying false or questionable information were submitted by Project Vote. Many of these registrations carried social security numbers that exist for other people, listed non-existent or commercial addresses, or were for convicted felons in violation of state and federal election law. In a letter to ACORN, the State Board of Elections reported that 56% of the voter registration applications ACORN turned in were ineligible. Further, a full 35% were not submitted in a timely manner, as required by law. The State Board of Elections also commented on what appeared to be evidence of intentional voter fraud. "Additionally,” they wrote, “information appears to have been altered on some applications where information given by the applicant in one color ink has been scratched through and re-entered in another color ink. Any alteration of a voter registration application is a Class 5 Felony in accordance with § 24.2-1009 of the Code of Virginia."
WA	2007	Three ACORN employees pleaded guilty, and four more were charged, in the worst case of voter registration fraud in Washington state history. More than 2,000 fraudulent voter registration cards were submitted by the group during a voter registration drive.
WI	2008	At least 33,000 ACORN-submitted registrations in Milwaukee have been called into question after it was found that the organizations had been using felons as registration workers, in violation of state election rules. Two people involved in the ongoing Wisconsin voter fraud investigation have been charged with felonies.
	2004	The district attorney’s office investigated seven voter registration applications Project Vote employees filed in the names of people who said the group never contacted them. Former Project Vote employee Robert Marquise Blakely told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he had not met with any of the people whose voter registration applications he signed, “an apparent violation of state law,” according to the paper.

            The New York Times, in a report that is acquiescent if not outright supportive, describes how President Obama orders the killing of terror suspects from a list compiled by government. The president personally reviews the biographical profiles of suspects and selects those individuals marking them for assassination. The administration calls this list the “Kill List”.

The objective of this post is not to criticize the presidents’ policy; for the most part, I support the president’s strategy.

(I prefer the more even handed Bush-Cheney policy of trying to capture, interrogated and water boarded -if necessary- insurgents and then hold them indefinitely at Gitmo -if convicted of crimes- so that they can not return to the battlefield.)

My objective is to once again show the double standard and hypocrisy of our media and to do what they refuse to do, scrutinize Barrack Obama’s Administration.

For eight years the media persecuted Bush and Cheney for instituting reasonable anti-terror policies. Obama continued Bush’s policies and the media criticism abruptly stopped. Now Obama has escalated his aggressive strategy which is to assassinate suspects first, ask questions later! Because the president is a Democrat, outright assassination without trial has now become an acceptable practice of our government to the Pro-Democrat lame stream media.

The concern of possible mistaken identity or of innocent people becoming collateral damage to Obama’s bombs is apparently not of concern to the left. Why, because Obama is a progressive, a Democrat Commander in Chief. I have not seen one critical report of Obama’s “Kill List” in the sucky Palm Beach Post, the same paper that for 8 years utilized an ocean of ink attacking the Bush-Cheney’s anti-terrorist policies.

Where are Cindy Sheehan, Code Pink and all the anti-war protesters hiding? Do they really not care about war? Are they just political stooges for the left?

Collateral Damage

The following is the from the report by the liberal New York Times describing Obama’s “Kill List”:

“WASHINGTON — This was the enemy, served up in the latest chart from the intelligence agencies: 15 Qaeda suspects in Yemen with Western ties. The mug shots and brief biographies resembled a high school yearbook layout. Several were Americans. Two were teenagers, including a girl who looked even younger than her 17 years.”

           

The Times described how Obama is unilaterally targeting and killing- without trial- young men and women suspected of being terrorists. Many of the dead were young black men living half way around the world in Yemen, Africa. How different would this New York Times report be if Bush and Cheney were still in office? Would the article’s title be “IMPEACH THE WAR CRIMINAL PRESIDENT!”? The New York Times seems to admire Obama’s assassinations; their report was entitled:

   “Secret ‘Kill List’ Proves a Test of Obama’s Principles and Will”.

    The Times reports:

            “His actions have often remained inscrutable, obscured by awkward secrecy rules, polarized political commentary and the president’s own deep reserve.”

         Can you imagine the reaction of The New York Times or The sucky Palm Beach Post if Bush-Cheney developed an assassination list that included American citizens and used inscrutable actions obscured by secrecy rules? Would they respect Bush’s deep reserve to protect the nation? LOL!

The New York Times admits that Obama has retained the Bush-Cheney policies but now the media accepts the strategy and hardly mentions protestations of human rights groups!

The following is more of the liberal Democrat hypocrisy reported by the Times.

“Harold H. Koh, for instance, as dean of Yale Law School was a leading liberal critic of the Bush administration’s counterterrorism policies. But since becoming the State Department’s top lawyer, Mr. Koh said, he has found in Mr. Brennan a principled ally.

“If John Brennan is the last guy in the room with the president, I’m comfortable, because Brennan is a person of genuine moral rectitude,” Mr. Koh said. “It’s as though you had a priest with extremely strong moral values who was suddenly charged with leading a war”.

         So, the Bush bashing Mr. Koh, after being hired by Obama suddenly becomes not only a supporter of Bush-Cheney policies, as conducted by Obama, but approves of an aggressive escalation; a policy of assassinating terror suspects without a trial!

Obama turned to his corrupt Attorney General Eric Holder to answer the following question concerning legality; “Could Obama order the targeted killing of an American citizen, in a country with which the United States was not at war, in secret and without the benefit of a trial”?

The Times further reports the DOJ’S conclusion:

“The Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel prepared a lengthy memo justifying that extraordinary step, asserting that while the Fifth Amendment’s guarantee of due process applied, it could be satisfied by internal deliberations in the executive branch. Mr. Obama gave his approval, and Mr. Awlaki was killed in September 2011, along with a fellow propagandist, Samir Khan, an American citizen who was not on the target list but was traveling with him.

If the president had qualms about this momentous step, aides said he did not share them”.

How would the press react if Bush claimed he could satisfy the Fifth Amendments’ guarantee of due process by internal deliberations with Dick Cheney and his executive branch? Again, LOL!

As an independent, I supported Bush’s anti-terror policies and I support Obama’s tough strategy to protect America. Unlike the Democrats and the national media, I’m consistent; still, a little media oversight might be helpful to our Republic. I don’t expect any oversight of Obama by the Palm Beach Post, but I must ask:
